Today we all went to the Vatican. Elizabeth has been before but on a tour and she wanted to see everything she had missed the first time. We diverted to the cafe first, then headed for the Sistine Chapel. You couldn't photograph the ceiling there but the rest of the place had miles of painted ceilings...

Time to consult the maps.
After leaving the Vatican we had lunch, then went on to St Peter's Square...
...then we all went our different ways for a bit. Malcolm and I walked back to our accommodation along some lesser used streets.
Angels everywhere.
Looks like people live up there. This isn't the Colosseum, similar look though.
