Ljubljana is a city of dragons. This is one of the four on Dragon Bridge on the way up to the castle.
There are lots of drinking fountains in the city - this one a kangaroo for some reason.

In the city there are lots of narrow streets with fountains where they widen at junctions.
More dragons. We got a boat trip here that went up and down the river. They asked did we want half an hour or forty-five minutes. We said half an hour but others must have said forty-five. They said do you mind if your trip takes longer? Of course we didn't!

By now it was 1.00 and only mad dogs and Englishmen were on the streets so we found a place for a sandwich then walked back to our airbnb apartment.
