Heidelberg

A hot sunny day today.  We figured out the tram and went into Heidelberg then took the funicular railway up to the castle.  From here we had great views of the old town.  The castle was interesting to wander around, then we walked down the hill to the old town.  We found lots of quiet little squares, then ate our packed lunch in the main square by the big church and town hall.  After that we wandered down to the bridge over the river, then the old Jesuit part of town before walking back to a tram station and heading for our airbnb apartment.  We then went inside where it was cool and drank a bottle of wine :-)

This was called the Big Barrel (full of wine) so big it has a dance floor on top
