Visited Lake Bled today. We drove from Zagreb, past Ljubljana to the lake in no time but then hit gridlock for the last 7kms - 50 mins!! It was beautiful though...
...clear water, dramatic castle, pretty churches.
We had lunch here. It said suckling pig and potatoes in a sandwich but was actually pork and spuds in a cardboard box. very nice though pricey, 15 Euro each, that's $30 NZ each. Mind you, I only ate half of mine and we took the rest away for dinner :-)
This little church is on an island in the lake.
