Views of snowy mountains on the road to Lake Tekapo this morning. Lupins are growing along the verges, looking really pretty.
We drove up to the observatory on Mt John. From the summit there are views of Lake Tekapo, Lake Alexandrina and Lake McGregor - also across to the area we were in yesterday (Mackenzies Pass)
It looked a bit surreal
In the afternoon we walked from our camp ground on the lakeside around the waterfront
This is the Church of the Good Shepherd, very picturesque but lots of tourists
Wildflowers are all around the lake
This is a new footbridge on the walking track
Lupins galore!!
