Quebec City

It was a bit of a mission to get into the old quarter of Quebec City from our overnight parking spot at Walmart.  We got 2 busses in (changed at an intersection) but on the way back were dropped miles from where we wanted to be.  Luckily Malcolm's orienteering skills, together with google maps on Janet's phone got us home!  Old Quebec was very quaint and picturesque, it had a definite French vibe.  We walked around the citadel then the squares and streets near Chateau Frontenac,  finally going down to Quartier Petit-Champlain and the waterfront.  Because we knew we may have to do a lot of walking I had my tramping boots on and jeans.  By the time we got back to our camper I was roasted.  The weather is so hot during the day, just a bit chilly at night now.

Lovely old streets

The Chateau is huge
