Port Stanley and Niagara Falls

We drove to Port Stanley on Lake Erie and then to Niagara Falls.  This part of Ontario is flat farmland with lots of quaint little towns with art and craft stores and boutique-style shops.
At Sparta candle shop.
It is hard to capture in a photograph the scale of Niagara Falls - the water rushes over the edge at a tremendous rate...

The people on this photo are on the American side of the border.

We took our coats when we went to look at the falls because of the spray.  Lucky, because when we came out onto the main street after dinner there was a thunderstorm and it poured down as we walked to our hotel past all the 'attractions'.

We went through and around a tower block on our way to the hotel which gave us views of the falls, all lit up :-)
