Manitoulin Island

Another cold night and we weren't at a powered site again!  The weather got warmer during the day and we peeled the layers off (though it was cool on the ferry crossing).  It was only a short drive to Tobermory where we climbed the lookout tower and got views across the lake (Huron) towards Manitoulin Island.  We spent most of the morning queuing for the ferry as we were on stand-by (we hadn't made a reservation).  The ferry left at 1.30, taking 2 hours to do the crossing.  Once on the island we drove north to the campground at Mindemoya.  We have a site overlooking another lake but what we don't have is any wine :-(
