Driving North

Clear, sunny but cold day.  We drove from our campsite near Thornbury beside Nottawasaga Bay to Meaford.  They were having a scarecrow festival here, lots of the scarecrows were dressed in red and white (Canada's colours, probably because it is Canada's 150th celebrations this year).  They were hanging from streetlights and sitting on benches, everywhere.  We continued north, driving beside Owen Sound, stopping for lunch at Big Bay.  In the afternoon we drove up the northern Bruce Peninsula as far as Miller Lake where we parked in a campground by the woods.  No bear sightings yet!!
