Railed it! Trailed it! Nailed it!

We did the last section of the rail trail - just because we can now say we've done the whole 150 kms of  trail, not because it was particularly scenic.  Then we continued on, back to Cromwell where we spent a couple of days parked on the south-western shores of Lake Dunstan.  Malcolm liked the rail trail so much that he decided to try the whole trail in one day.  He cycled 66.5 kms in 3 and 1/2 hrs before deciding that old age and infirmities had caught up with him and decided to call it a day at that half way point.  He realised it is something you probably need to train for.  He's trying to figure out how you can train for that distance without cycling on busy roads!  Maybe park up beside a section of trail?  Anyway not just now...
...our next stage of the journey will be the West Coast so we're hoping for good weather over there!
