Granada

It was really cold again this morning but we wrapped up and headed across the city and uphill to the Alhambra, which is fortress, palaces and gardens combined.  We had pre-bought tickets in NZ, so had no problem with queues.  The palaces were very like the one we saw in Seville –arches, tiles, columns, formal gardens with ponds and fountains...  In the afternoon it got hot while we were walking around visiting Moorish bath houses and a small palace/museum.  This was in the old Moorish quarter with lots of narrow walkways between houses, steps, etc.  After 8 hours it was time to return to the airbnb for a lie down 😊
