Algarve, Portugal

Today we drove along the Algarve coast, first stop the old walled town at Faro.  All the buildings here were painted white, gleaming in the sun (29 degrees).  The views from the Cathedral tower across the lagoon were beautiful.  Next stop Olhao, where we had lunch looking out at the island of Culatra, where I was on the boat for a few weeks back in 1984.  After exploring the little town we realised that we’d lose an hour travelling back into Spain (time difference with Portugal) so Malcolm had to put his foot down on the motorway and now we are in our airbnb in Seville, planning tomorrow.

The above photos are all Faro, below is Olhao
