Moreton Bay hinterland

We have been exploring Moreton Bay's hinterland. Yesterday we went to Dayboro, a pretty historic village. From there we drove into the D'Aguilar National Park and back via Mt Mee.  It was the only day we have had so far that was partly cloudy and was cooler.
We had great views from the mountain roads, down to the coast and Brisbane and into the ranges

this is the Gantry in D'Aguila National Park - probably a sawmill at one time

View of the Glasshouse Mountains from Mt Mee

Today we went to Samford (another pretty village with cafes, craft shops etc) then into the south part of the D'Aguilar National Park where there are various places to park - there are several walks at each spot - we did a walk called the rainforest walk.

Samford - lots of old buildings at these villages.
