This is the hotel we stayed in at Canungra. Thursday night was nice and peaceful but we should have realised what happens in pubs on Friday nights. Yes, live music from 8.00-12.00, right under our room, and extremely loud. Well, put that one down to experience.
We did several walks around Tamborine Mtn, parked (that's our hire car) and did this walk (The Knoll and Cameron Falls) before morning tea...
that's the falls, a trickle dropping off a cliff, behind Malcolm.
Then we walked Witches Falls (both these walks about 1 hour loops) before lunch...
...which was actually Devonshire Tea.
Then we looked around the shops and galleries clustered along a section of road in the town centre before walking Macdonald's loop.
It is interesting to see the Australian rainforest, so different to NZ.
