Lake Hawea

 

We finally left Central Otago and found  a freedom camping place near The Neck beside Lake Hawea.  It was a great spot with views across the lake.  In the afternoon we walked along the farm track beside the lake but had to jump up the hillside when we met a herd of cows being driven by a farmer in a landrover with the help of his 3 dogs.
