A great day - morning was a bit overcast so we went to the Hot Pools at Maruia Springs - went to the Punga Pools in the bush - 3 pools, 1 very hot, 1 freezing cold, 1 just right - Goldilocks would have approved! Met some interesting people in the pool - a Danish couple and a Canadian couple, good place for a chat. Then the sun came out and we went for a drive down the other side of the peninsula, better views this side but the roads were freaky - sheer drop offs. Then for a change from beaches we went bush and did a bush walk through a reserve in the centre of the peninsula 1 and 1/2 hrs. Then picked up some great fish n chips...so overall a good day.
