Another long trip yesterday - 12 hour flight from Hong Kong to Paris plus about 4 hours each side of that getting to and from hotels. Getting the train from the airport, then metro, then dragging suitcases to our hotel at the end of 20 hours travelling was not so much fun! But no more long flights for a while :-)
Today we woke early (6.30 am Paris time but had 9 hours sleep - because of jet lag we also went to bed early, it was about 3.00 am Hong Kong time) and spent the morning wandering around Notre Dame area and looked at some churches and lots of quaint, picturesque Parisian streets. After lunch we went to the Eiffel Tower and then the Statue of Liberty.
