Toronto - Castle and Cruise

After breakfast with this view - plus squirrels - we got a day pass on the subway and headed to Casa Loma, North America's only full sized castle. Built in 1911 it has 4 floors plus turrets.

Back on the subway to the waterfront...

...where I spotted this cruise on the lake.

The boat is the kajama, a 3-masted schooner.
Wine, music...

The Toronto skyline from the water.

Leaving Vancouver and arriving in Toronto

Our last night in Vancouver, enjoying Gastown...
and the Cambie. We ate and drank here almost every night.

Final morning, a walk by the harbour befre heading to the airport and arriving in Toronto in the middle of the night (lost 3 hours).

A bit overcast at times but 26 degrees. We wandered around for a bit among the skyscrapers.

We did find some older architecture.

View from our balcony.

Found an 'English' pub, the Queen and Beaver - delicious food...

...including pudding!
