We finally got away on our overseas trip, first stop Vancouver. After a 13 hr flight a long wait for the baggage...

After booking in to the hotel we walked around Gastown, the old part of Vancouver, brought back to life in recent years, full of cafes and boutiques and souvenir shops. The Cambie was a great place for dinner and drinks before more exploring...

This is the famous steam clock. This area is full of locals (we were invited to a block party!)cyclists, dog walkers...
