Cycle Rides and Tiki-Tours

A couple of trips with the girls this week.  First, a cycle ride along the Waimahunga Track and around Onerahi, with lunch at the airport cafe.

Next, a trip to Kaikohe, via Kakakawa, where we had coffee here.

Lake Waro

Today five of us went for an Autumnal walk around Lake Waro and the rocky outcrops beside it.

In Hikurangi township we found some second-hand shops and a cafe.

And this quirky gate.  A fun afternoon.

Kerikeri Day two

After a morning at Kerikeri market with this gang we grabbed the bikes and a picnic and headed to Opua.

A lovely day for this ride.

While we were eating lunch the train came in from Kawakawa.

Kerikeri weekend day 1

A weekend away in Kerikeri.  First stop, wine tasting at Ake Ake vineyard.

Second stop - coffee and cake at the Teahouse cafe.
